Quite nifty

It was an incredibly pro fusion of sounds. A very detailed piece altogether, a nice tune, and I did enjoy listening to it, but there was something about it that didn't quite grab my attention and make me say, "Man, I wanna listen to more of this!" So I give it a solid 9. Nonetheless, I believe it deserves more than a 4/5, so you get a 9/10 and 5/5 from me. Nice work indeed.

cheshyre responds:

Thanks for being honest! and thanks for the 9!!!

Niiiiiice.

Super catchy. It's hard not to bob your head to it, haha. Good melody, good percussion, all-around pretty sweet.

Plus, as you can see from the comment below, this song is cheshyre-approved, which is pretty awesome in itself.

Xepho responds:

Thanks alot man :D i am blessed to have to the approval of cheshyre himself :3

Sweet.

It's excellent "Evil boss battle"-type music. A good lead and you did a lot with it. Very nice melodies you came up with and I liked the diversity of the piece. It never got repetitive thanks to that, and I enjoyed it the whole way through.

DesoloZ responds:

u should listen to part 2 and 3 on my music wall.

Hah, nice stuff

I remember seeing this on the new song list when it was first uploaded, and remember liking it. It appeared at around number four, I think, on the list of techno songs, when it only had about 5 votes. It dropped off the first page of the list quickly, though, but I'm really glad to see it come back again, because:
--I like the melody
--I like the various instruments you employed throughout the song
--I can tell that a ton of effort went into this
--It's quite catchy and sounds professional
So yeah. Basically, quality stuff. From one music artist to another, congrats.

Feddey responds:

Hey DX! =)
Thanks for the review! I'm really glad you liked it and thx for all the compliments.
When i hear things like this it's really worth the hours spent on creating this piece!

Appriciate it! ;)

Not bad at all, bro

I like that you're making a Portal-inspired song because that's exactly what the dev team I'm part of is doing right now. Actually, we're making a Portal mod, but I write about half the music. Point is, I like your style. Lotta emotion to this bit.

Thing is, from 1:00 onward, I found it a little hard to buy that it was Portal music. Maybe it was the kick? Well, the ambiance to it was the best feature, but I think it could be slightly more...sinister. Yeah.

Good job with this one, though, keep it up.

STEPHEN4705 responds:

Yeah, I kinda (unfortunately) rushed the kick. I should've just added the bass without it, but I guess its a bit late now :P
Maybe I'll try again at a later date without the kick and sidechain, maybe it'll work better. As for sinister.. I think I can manage that.

Anyways, I'll go check out your stuff now :P

I really liked this.

Are you DJRageVI, by any chance?

Anyway great track. :D

DJVI responds:

I'm glad you like my music (= And I'm not DJRageVI, just DJ V.I. :D

Man.

On the whole, I don't give too many 5/5's, but I would say this piece definitely deserves it. I've long tried to write pieces with this kind of dramatic buildup into an intense ear-assault-o'-goodness session, but never had much success. (I mean, I don't write dubstep, but the same principle is what I'm talking about.) Juggernaut, though, does that perfectly--it's basically an amazing wubfest. The breaks in the song are also perfectly spaced to ensure that it never slips into monotony. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoy listening to this. Congrats.

KroweMusic responds:

Glad ya like it!

Yeah if you wanna make better build-ups, just listen to a lot of songs that have dramatic buildups and study them...listen to them over and over again. That's what I did...seems to work pretty well :P

Excellent.

I don't hand out 10's often, but this piece deserves it. It has a great beat, nice choice of instruments and the quotes were used in exactly the right places. Congrats.

Twoshiny responds:

Thank you very much, its good to hear that you liked it. It took me a while to make and I think it was well worth it. Take care.

Nice, very nice

I found myself bobbing my head to this. I especially liked 0:56 onward. Groovy.

JizzleJDaAmplifia responds:

Thanks alot. I made sure that I make the loop progress. That way I have the audience expecting to hear more melodies as it goes on.

I write whatever kind of music I'm feeling at the time. Whatever it is, enjoy.
