Not bad, really

The main problems I had were these:
--It's just a tad repetitive
--Neither the melody nor the percussion are particularly catchy
--Sometimes the tempo of the percussion clashed with that of the melody

Here's what I liked:
--It would make good background music of a sort
--Clearly there was a lot of effort involved
--The bells (seriously)

All in all, pretty good. Keep it up, guys.

Just a tad disappointing

The percussion was fantastic, and hooked me right off, but I spent the entire song waiting for the melody to kick in. It never did. So, if you guys add a real melody that you can layer over your awesome percussion, you'll have yourselves a great song.

I really liked this.

Are you DJRageVI, by any chance?

Anyway great track. :D

DJVI responds:

I'm glad you like my music (= And I'm not DJRageVI, just DJ V.I. :D

Pretty amazing.

Quite amazing, actually. Very great use of the vocals.

Oh, and I could swear I heard "Give me a Padawan" at 0:34. Lol.

DJ-Delinquent responds:

sounds like "Give me Another One!"

My favorite part?

5:46 to 5:53. The shortest WIP, and yet I can't stop listening to it. I...I dunno...NEED it to be longer. A song made from this would be epic as hell.

Man.

On the whole, I don't give too many 5/5's, but I would say this piece definitely deserves it. I've long tried to write pieces with this kind of dramatic buildup into an intense ear-assault-o'-goodness session, but never had much success. (I mean, I don't write dubstep, but the same principle is what I'm talking about.) Juggernaut, though, does that perfectly--it's basically an amazing wubfest. The breaks in the song are also perfectly spaced to ensure that it never slips into monotony. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoy listening to this. Congrats.

KroweMusic responds:

Glad ya like it!

Yeah if you wanna make better build-ups, just listen to a lot of songs that have dramatic buildups and study them...listen to them over and over again. That's what I did...seems to work pretty well :P

Actually

First off, let me say this is beastly cool.

Second, this actually sounds more like it's written in 9/8 than 7/8 or 7/4, which is even cooler. I've tried to write pieces like that, but never could, so congrats.

How do I know? It's most apparent from 1:12 to 1:36, listen carefully. You can count 9 beats in each measure.

Uber tricky beat, well pulled off, super congratulations and 10/10.

I...

Well, I normally give longish reviews, but I have only two words to describe this song:

Quality stuff.

Gasmasq.

Masterful diss-flipping, clever lyrics, good flow: an overall excellent performance by Gasmasq.

Gotta hand it to Flex.

I have to say, Flex has a real knack for wrecking his opponent in the final verse. I didn't enjoy the beat so much, but all the verses were clever. It was close in the beginning, but Flex decided it in the end by flipping all Cynic's words against him.

I write whatever kind of music I'm feeling at the time. Whatever it is, enjoy.
